Monster is currently looking for an experience Web Developer to join their sales delivery team. Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations, the ideal candidate must be able to work in highly dynamic and ever changing environment, embracing flexibility as the means to new and exciting opportunities. Willingness and dedication to finding the new best ways or improving the established paths is necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

§Convert graphical user driven templates into functional interfaces

§Placement and layout of web site pages given client provided content

§Implement databases and content management tools

§Execute technical implementation, integration and customization of third party applications & other proprietary systems

§Implement latest SEO standards & strategies, ensure cross-browser/platform compatibility and other web standards

§Help to develop technical specifications documentation

§Collaborate with Creative Director, Web Designer, and other team members on solution and information architecture and participate in brainstorming sessions on projects as a developer and as a thought leader

§Time estimating, tracking & reporting

§Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed

§Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications

§Assist in gathering requirements and project specifications

§Attend project kickoff meetings with clients

§Take ownership of daily project needs and communications

§Communicate project status and deliverables with managers and clients

§Record time daily

§Design, create and program SQL Server databases per project needs

§ASP.Net (C#) development per project needs

§Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication

§Perform routine site maintenance as needed

§Perform complete testing and troubleshooting for all issues prior to launch

§Assist in internal & external client trouble shooting as technical support

§Other tasks as needed for successful project completion

Qualifications:

·5+ years in web development

·Experienced with standard and rich media ad trafficking software for display, video, mobile and other emerging channels

·Must possess strong skills in HTML and XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript, ColdFusion, .Net, Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver and Visual Studio

·2 years minimum Web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP

·1 year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Strong interpersonal skills, complemented by the ability to work independently and as part of a team

·Highly organized, with effective time management and the ability to prioritize effectively

·Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines

·Resilience and ability to cope effectively under pressure

·Detail oriented, with an eye for thoroughness and accuracy

·Dependable, with strong follow-through skills

·Action oriented and customer focused, with strong sense of urgency

·Ability to learn and adapt to changing requirements and situations

·Bilingual (English and French) is an asset

·Experience working in or with creative agencies is an asset
